About Me

  1. PVR MR GLC RH A collection of all the Genesis TMNT games and hacks. The Cowabunga Collection left out a little more than half the titles. I did include HH unhacked but did not include TF without hacks because I felt like the differences in Heist was significant while the differences in Fighters was not. Game 1: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Shredder's Re-Revenge" Game 2: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Hyperstone Heist" Game 3: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of Kaizo" Game 4: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of Rage Remix" Game 5: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of Rage" Game 6: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Final Shell Shock" Game 7: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Legend Returns" Game 8: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighters Playable Bosses" Game 9: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Turtles in Time" Game 10: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Hyperstone Heist Enhanced" Game 11: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Gaiden" Dreamcast: [Hidden Content] Genesis: [Hidden Content] Sega Smash Pack Volume 13 Sega Smash Pack Volume 12 Sega Smash Pack Volume 11 Sega Smash Pack Volume 10 Sega Smash Pack Volume 9 Sega Smash Pack Volume 8 Sega Smash Pack Volume 7 Sega Smash Pack Volume 6 Sega Smash Pack Volume 5 Sega Smash Pack Volume 4 Sega Smash Pack Volume 3 Sega Smash Pack Volume 2 Sega Smash Pack Volume 1
  2. Created by Ro Magnus Larson. 236 games Tested in Demul Magnus did not create a GLC bin. The games are organized in folders but the navigation is on you. Likewise there is no PVR included. I made no changes at all. This is a re-up of Ro's work, nothing more. I did not test every game. It's not my work so any bugs and such are not something I plan on addressing. Report that sort of stuff to Ro Magnus Larson on Dreamcast-Talk. Game List: CDI: [hide][Hidden Content]] ISO: [hide][Hidden Content]]
  3. Tested - Hardware/Demul only. No Redream/Flycast PVR MR GLC RH Special thanks to @John Mann who helped me locate the patches All the translations and enhancements ever produced by the hacker known as MIJET. Yu Yu has some graphical glitches when the sprites stand still but given it's a fighting game and everyone's mostly moving I figured it was too minor to exclude the game. I noticed absolutely no other flaws in any games but I don't have enough controllers to test Yu Yu's 4-player mode so that may or may not work, I do not know. Gamelist: Game 1: "Battle Mania Daiginjou" Game 2: "Contra Hard Corps" Game 3: "Dynamite Headdy" Game 4: "El Viento" Game 5: "Glaylancer" Game 6: "King Colossus" Game 7: "Langrisser" Game 8: "Langrisser II" Game 9: "Phantasy Star II Amia's Adventure" Game 10: "Phantasy Star II Anne's Adventure" Game 11: "Phantasy Star II Huey's Adventure" Game 12: "Phantasy Star II Kind's Adventure" Game 13: "Phantasy Star II Nei's Adventure" Game 14: "Phantasy Star II Rudger's Adventure" Game 15: "Phantasy Star II Shilka's Adventure" Game 16: "Phantasy Star II Yushis's Adventure" Game 17: "Pulseman" Game 18: "Shinobi III" Game 19: "Twinkle Tale" Game 20: "Undead Line" Game 21: "Yu Yu Hakusho" Dreamcast CDI: [hide][Hidden Content]] Genesis Prepatched Roms: [hide][Hidden Content]] Sega Smash Pack Volume 11 Sega Smash Pack Volume 10 Sega Smash Pack Volume 9 Sega Smash Pack Volume 8 Sega Smash Pack Volume 7 Sega Smash Pack Volume 6 Sega Smash Pack Volume 5 Sega Smash Pack Volume 4 Sega Smash Pack Volume 3 Sega Smash Pack Volume 2 Sega Smash Pack Volume 1
  4. PVR MR GLC Tested in Demul - Only works in Demul or on a real Sega Dreamcast. No Redream or Flycast or Nullcast or anything else. Demul/Dreamcast and that is it. I started with 82 but after testing only 69 made it. It was a bunch to test so if one got by me I'm not shocked. Report it and I'll update accordingly. I should also note for anyone trying themselves, if you're going to port a game you have to test at least a full level. There's plenty of games I do not include in SmashPacks that launch. You need to actually play them a bit before you can say it probably works and even then if you did not 100% it, it may fail later in the game. And finally, if there's a game you want that is not here it probably didn't work. I casted a wide net for this one. That said, it doesn't hurt to shoot me a line and ask me. I could have missed a few. 5. Click to expand screenshots PVR MR GLC This SmashPack features one game in seven flavors. The 8/16 bit computer versions of Barbarian The Ultimate Warrior ported to Genesis running on Dreamcast. Amiga Atari ST Amstrad CPC Apple II Commodore 64 DOS ZX Spectrum Notes: My Amiga port to Dreamcast is a different version. Plays a little differently, looks a little differently, and sounds much different. There's a very sleight visual glitch. When you kill the enemy and the little goblin thing drags off the body there's a tiny bit of frame blurring on the goblin sprite. Sometimes I feel the need to use full terms rather than the well known shorthand. Even if you didn't know DOS means Disk Operating System or the Z in ZX Spectrum stands for Z80 I think it's pretty easy to guess but if it bothers you let me know and I'll re-parse the list to just say stuff like CPC instead of Color Personal Computer, etcetera. "Y" or top button is Action. 6. PVR MR GLC Tested in Demul Lin Kuei's Genesis enhancement hacks. The only one missing is Prince of Persia 2's horse level fix because it is included in the remaster so there's no point in it anymore. Screenshots of Lin Kuei's work are on the left, the ones on the right are original game screens for comparison's sake. Click to enlarge. I should probably note, Vinnie Vincent is Lin's avatar on Romhacking. I did the same for the Pyron SmashPack. If you don't know who Vinnie is, shame on you. Lin is a person of fine tastes. Vinnie's the Wizard character in Kiss. The lead guitarist who replaced Ace, the Spaceman. Games included: 1: Altered Beast Arcade 2: Golden Axe II Recolored 3: Mortal Kombat Arcade Edition 4: Prince of Persia Remastered 5: Prince of Persia II Remastered 6: Rock N Roll Racing Improved 7: Shadow of the Beast II Recolored 8: Space Harrier II Arcade 9: Sunset Riders Recolored 10: The Terminator Remastered 11: Turican Fixed Known Glitches: Not everything sounds great and Beast 2 is missing its BG gradient, unfortunately. There's some really great MK3/UMK hacks out there but unfortunately they can't be Dreamcasted, currently. As far as I know, this is all the Midway games made for genesis. Let me know if I missed any. 8. Tested PVR Inside GLC Compiled Includes Phantasy Star 2, 3, and 4 along with all 8 PS2 Adventure games. All games have improvement, bugfix, and retranslation patches applied. If I ever figure out a good means to compiling smsplus with gens4all I'll redo this to include PS1 but my last go at that is clunky and ugly so for now Gens titles only. 10. Tested in DEmul PVR Included GLC Included I misspelled adventures on the game list compiler, um, twice . Didn't notice until I was taking the screenshots. May have misspelled more games and didn't notice. If it bothers you let me know and I'll fix it, tomorrow. I'm quite tired at the moment. Games: Animaniacs Castlevania - Bloodlines Contra - Hard Corps Double Dribble - The Playoff Edition International Superstar Soccer Deluxe Rocket Knight Adventures Sparkster Sunset Riders Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Hyperstone Heist Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighters Tiny Toon Adventures - ACME All-Stars Tiny Toon Adventures - Buster's Hidden Treasure Zombies Ate My Neighbors The 3 games not here are not here because they do not work well on Dreamcast. I tried non-gens4all solutions and those are just not good so the 13 here are pretty set in stone. Almost every game Konami every made for Genesis. 12. Tested PVR MR GLC RH HB BL Special thanks to @obthree for showing me BMB's work and @Gamerone for showing me who BMB is BMB is a Russian developer known for some interesting hacks, homebrews, and bootlegs. Quality ranges but the obscurity and novelty of the work makes it all interesting enough to qualify for a smash, in my opinion. The place I downloaded these from did a lot of guessing and was mostly wrong. Darkwing, for example, is not a port of the NES game. It is a recreation running on BMB's platforming engine. Its physics, AI, stages, enemies is all a little different and more akin to early 8-bit computer platforming games than NES era and/or beyond. So, if you're here for the Genesis roms rather than the Dreamcast cdi don't put stock into the naming. None of these are legit games simply translated by BMB. Some are romhacks but the vast majority are original games infringing on popular intellectual properties. Lastly, I do not mean this as any form of political commentary on the war. This is a work showcase and nothing else. Gamelist: Game 1: "Adventures of the Gummi Bears" Game 2: "Angry Birds in Russia" Game 3: "Angry Birds Star Wars" Game 4: "Avatar" Game 5: "Ben 10" Game 6: "Call of Duty Ghosts" Game 7: "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers" Game 8: "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2" Game 9: "Darkwing Duck" Game 10: "Felix the Cat" Game 11: "Grand Theft Auto 5" Game 12: "Iron Man" Game 13: "Kung Fu Panda" Game 14: "Lego Batman" Game 15: "Lego Pirates of the Caribbean" Game 16: "Mario 3" Game 17: "Mario 4" Game 18: "Plants vs Zombies" Game 19: "Shrek" Game 20: "Shrek 2" Game 21: "SpongeBob" Game 22: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Legend Returns" Dreamcast: [Hidden Content] Genesis: [Hidden Content] Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 Sega Smash Pack Volume 2 Sega Smash Pack Volume 3 Sega Smash Pack Volume 4 Sega Smash Pack Volume 5 Sega Smash Pack Volume 6 Sega Smash Pack Volume 7 Sega Smash Pack Volume 8 Sega Smash Pack Volume 9 Sega Smash Pack Volume 10 Sega Smash Pack Volume 11 Sega Smash Pack Volume 12
  13. *** A side scrolling shoot em up for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, NeoGeo and PSX. It is made for the NTSC (60Hz) but it will run in PAL (50Hz) but it will be slower. *** The developer made a small update today. He reduced the hitbox of the player. This makes manoeuvring through the bullets and enemies much more enjoyable. It was already in the NeoGeo and PSX versions, but now the MD version is like this too. Also he rearranged the buttons. Now: A is for Shooting B is Slow Down C is Dash He made dash to act and as the shooting button. This was made because it was too uncomfortable to play with 3-buttons gamepads. The rearrangement was made to be able to combine pushing slow down and shoot or dash with one finger. Last, he made the game to start with the ability to dash trail shooting from the start. 14. Full Autoboot PVR Included MR Tagged Rom Hack I mucked up the titled IP but most of y'all won't even notice that. You need to either hack the cdi or look at it in redream, which can't play the game anyway, and you'll see it is titled but appears blank in redream. Dunno why. Replaced all characters, all enemies and all bosses. Added shadow for all characters, all enemies and all bosses. Some enemies have new attacks, that will surprise experienced players. Characters replaced by Raph, Leo, Donnie, Mikey, April O’Neil, Splinter and Casey Jones. All seven playable characters can jump further while running All of the characters attacks are similar to those from TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. The game has juggling for both players and enemies. Players can recover from a hit by pressing the jump button upon landing (as in SOR4) The command to run (f, f) becomes more sensitive. All playable characters can jump further while running. You can use the Offensive Special while running Added 6-Button gamepad Support. Uppercut now is Y-button. Friendly fire is disabled. Added new sounds for players and enemies. A new plot has been written for the game. Changed the title screen Changed all Story Screen in the game For the first time in sor2 hacking, switching between normal and turbo mode has been added to the option Added turbo mode Dreamcast: [Hidden Content] Genesis: [hide][Hidden Content]]
  15. Tested in DEmul PVR Included English Patched This is an unlicensed RPG from Taiwan whose English patch was created ages ago. A few years back Piko Interactive picked it up and released it on Steam. It's pretty good, drags a bit and it's a bit grindy but not a bad game and for an unlicensed it's one of the best. Genesis didn't have many menu based RPGs so it's one of the best there too. Not Phantasy Star quality, but a fine game. I know a lot of people love Pier Solar, to be honest I felt about them same for this one. If you really liked Pier then you'd probably disagree, but if you felt Pier dragged a bit then Brave is about equal. Genesis to Genesis of course, this lacks the audio and FMVs of the PS DC release. 3 out of 5 Gator Chomps Dreamcast: [hide][Hidden Content]] Genesis: [hide][Hidden Content]] Cannon works and I may upload it soon Beggar Prince, Star Odyssey, Legend of Wukong, and Vixen can not be ported to Dreamcast otherwise my next Smash Pack would have unofficial RPGs.

  20. Hey there! Does anyone have a ZX Spectrum or/and MSX version(s) of this game?
  21. Created by ShindouGO Nice menu system Background music Tested Loads of features Great work by Shin. Be warned, not everything is going to work in an emu. The cdi will play everything on a real Dreamcast and I didn't notice anything glitch-wise that would be Shin's fault so much as a sort coming of the packed in programs. For example, say you load the PS1 game, not really Shin's fault bleem is a bit spotty. The menu system looks, sounds, and functions really well. [Hidden Content]
  22. I figured it was time to make this post in case someone hasn't done so already. Does anyone know if all the exclusive roms have been dumped from both the US and Japan versions of these Mini Consoles? I do legit have the US version personally, but am no hacker myself. I understand if say the Space Harrier games won't work on emulators currently, but that doesn't matter to me. I just like to keep the roms for archive purposes due to my passion for retro games. In any case, if anyone has info on if this has been done or will be done in the near future, just let us all know here. Thank you. :)

Tested PVR included GLC included Infinite Lives Infinite Mutant Powers Infinite Helpers Jean picking you up doesn't cost health Mojo World Reset fixed I was going to make the 8th Smash Pack superhero games but quite a lot of them don't work in Gens4All so I'm releasing the ones that do as singles rather than creating a Smash Pack with like 5 or 6 games in it. I've made this one quite a lot easier than it used to be. Should be child friendly now. Dreamcast: [hide][Hidden Content]] Genesis: [hide][Hidden Content]]
