Painting the Switch backplate

Has anyone tried to spray paint their switch's backplate?

Would this be a good idea considering that the current gen switches have been known to heat and warp? @Potato-Desu

If the switch is just ABS plastic then a light sand with 300~500 grit sand paper, giving it a light prime and then 2 or 5 cotes of paint depend on color and then 2 or 3 cotes of clear cote would work well.
But it depends on what you want to pain it on, if you just want to change the color as a hole i would suggest getting a replacement shell for the switch and keep the old one fresh if you ever need to do warranty or something like that
(this ones are is the  "Update" switch)

There doesn't appear to be a lot of full case replacement just either stock ones

If you don't want a permanent solution like paint a dbrand skin is a pretty good option too

It all depends on what your trying to go for color and theme wise at the end of the day. well I hope that helped
