PSvita how to sign in without updating ?

hi there, i wanted to know if there is any  method to sign in to a psn account without having the need to update to the current 3.69 update. As i know how to install any ofw with QCMA, my only prob is how to sign in as QCMA needs a psn account to opperate.

Guys i've found a solution to this predicament! it is to restore your vita (power +PS button + R shoulder) in recovery menu, then during the setup phase of your restored vita it'll ask if you have a psn account or not. That's when you input the detail and connect to the net, once done quickly off the internet and your set!

You should just be able to sign in to psn. I am on 3.60 and I can get on to the store and download my games just fine. Sony recently changed something so you should be able to log in.

sadly im not able to do that. i wanted to mod my psvita but it's stuck on 3.55 and i need i have a psn account to use qcma to and get the h-encore app.

Try setting your DNS to 212.47.229.76  on the vita and choose to update from Wi-Fi. Proceed only if the message says “A new version of the system software is available. Firmware 3.60 (変革 Compatible)”.

just tried what you said. All i get is ''update 3.69 is available". Anyone else with any idea on how to fix this ? i just need to bypass the update screen and get to the sign in then im in the clear, and h-encore will be the next step.

If you want, you can check the first video of this thread that shows you how to update to 3.60:

From 3.60, you can then go to 3.65 through Henkaku. The main bright side of this over 3.68 is that you don't have to reinstall Henkaku every time you restart your Vita.
