Jackhammer
I've not kept up with the PS Vita scene. Last time I looked you needed to be on 3.60. So I need a bit of advice. I can buy a modded vita, but it's on 3.68, the guy said it runs everything no problem. Here's the ad. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Is this legit? Is 3.68 fully hacked. Is the eshop the same principle as the 3DS eshop?
RyouBakura
Yes pretty much. The main handicap if you're on 3.68, is that you have to reapply the hack when you restart the device, which takes less than 20 seconds. 1

Edit: Going by the photos it looks like an OLED version. I'm guessing that uses a proprietary power cable? Is there any other way to charge an OLED version? Ravenstorm
OLED needs a special cable unlike the newer vitas to charge it. it says charger wire does it have both parts? you need the USB to Vita and also the charging box + plug that goes in the wall. OLED charger cable itself works on PC USB or even attached to mobile battery. So yea you can charge your OLED Vita on your PC. As long as the charging device has USB you can charge it. The Vita charger works very fast in my experience. I've had OLED since Nov. 2013 and my battery life is still just as great too (unlike my PSP lol). 1

Apart from the FW version, the only other info I have is in the advert. Edit: Vita has been sold. Guess I was too slow. Will keep an eye out for another. Axeo30
I would say get a stock vita and hack it yourself. To be honest the hacking process is super easy and with the new one out all the work is basically done for you. And getting the apps to get free games like pkgj are already on here. And if you need help feel free to pm me or ask around. We are here to help.
