Seems like my notebook's display panel is dying? It has dead pixels with a hint of greenness and the dead pixels grow bigger daily.

Even if it did die, there's no need to back up data since the issue has nothing to do with the HDD.

If your notebook is recent or of popular model, you can find a new screen for cheap. If you don't plan on fixing it, or you didn't find a screen at all, then you can just connect the HDD to another computer and back up all your shit then. Both are viable options.

Yeah, but I was saying in the sense that if it dies, how the hell will I browse my content? (it's has eMMC storage). But soon after making this topic, I thought I will still be able to use HDMI, silly me.
