If your notebook is recent or of popular model, you can find a new screen for cheap. If you don't plan on fixing it, or you didn't find a screen at all, then you can just connect the HDD to another computer and back up all your shit then. Yeah, but I was saying in the sense that if it dies, how the hell will I browse my content? (it's has eMMC storage).
