Problem with SD2VITA, 256GB card and Henkaku Enso.

Question

Hi all, i have a weird problem with my Vita and SD2VITA. I have a 256GB SD card, installed Henkaku Enso and so on. SD is mounted as ux0: and original Sony card (4GB) as uma0:. But i can't install from VPKs (gives me error 0xFFFFFFFF), only a few files working (Vitashell, Stranded...). So i've tried installing from MaiDumpTool. But there i have an error "Can't install from folder PCESxxxx".
Is this problem caused by my SD card? It's 256GB, but "noname".

Ok I don't see any mistake concerning what you are doing.

I presume it was a brand new SD card, you formatted it to exFAT using Linux or you've injected  zzblank.img on it first under Windows ?! What about SD card capacity once it's formatted ? Ultimately do you have a link to where you bought that SD card please ?

Yes, i've prepared it correctly. Written image and formatted it under Win7 in exFAT without disk name. Formatted capacity is about 250GB. And this is a *cheap* card from Aliexpress. I'm trying now with Kingston's 32GB SD, will post a result.

EDIT: On Kingston's 32GB all seems to be fine, just installed with MaiDumpTool two games, Titan Souls and Sky Force. Now i'm transferring bigger game and will test it.

You're not forced to install using VPKs, and it's not the best option anymore since it always required double space. You can simply extract VPK files into a GameID folder just like MaidumpTool works. This way you can simply install it using Mai or VitaShell's install folder function (into more menu). It's faster and don't need to have double space available.

I was going to say, Let this be known!!! I bought a 256 gb *Authentic looking and sealed* ADATA SD card... I've bought adata before, so I trust the brand. These S.O.B.'s are actually reprinting, and resealing these things! BEFORE YOU USE A SD CARD FOR THIS VITA!!  - Use a app called H2 to verify said space! :) I spent over 20 hours with 0xFFFFFFFF and  0xFFFFFF99, and mind numbingly slow FTP speeds.

That is fraud !, did you return it and ask for a refund?

Yeah, The item was taken down shortly before it arrived, which I thought was weird - because I couldn't give feedback. Well, I found out about the storage tweak he did, and made a claim - about 30 seconds later he gave me my money back. Still... Now I have to go through the whole process over. :feelsbadman: I still think some of the VPK's are corrupt from the start. Some D-bags probably replaced a letter with a symbol in a file converted to text. I used the infamous VPK/MAI torrents from vitapiracy on reddit. :)
