What I was told back in 2017 was that "the final version of the game would be freely available" (his exact words not mine). Which it never was.

For Vectrex

Peer did make a final (rewritten, debugged) version of Count Vecula (AKA "The Count") available. Albeit, without the extra levels included in the of cartridge / boxed release.

Despite what might have been Peer words said while talking the earlier versions, no one can fault him for wanting to encourage players to purchase the full version of Count Vecula. Especially after the many hours put into that rewritten release that includes the much expanded version of the software. As well as the artwork, instructions.

Inquisitive players can locate the earlier versions of "The Count" and "Count Vecula".

Maybe you could even make an inquiry to Peer to ask for the release with the limited levels.

Then play the game with options the most difficult settings. Which should keep you entertained for a while, or more.
