Thank you! Is there a way to convert GDI to CDI?

Thanks again!

Did you manage to make that HD version to work?
I tried to test it out recently, but my GDEMU just resets the DC and doesn't run the game using that GDI.
The game converted to CDI sits on a black screen.
No luck on a DC emulator as well, with neither of the versions... 🤔

That version is only for Dreamshell. I've converted it to be compatible with GDEMU

Oh awesome! Thanks!
Is there any tool or specific process to convert the 1st_read between dreamshell and GDEMU?
Or is it a per-game modification? 🤔

I simply unpacked track03.iso with "gdi2data", repacked it with "GDIBuilder" and updated .gdi file. And it magicaly worked ^_^

Tracks 01 and 02 are unmodified.

For other homebrew like dreambor games, I've used Lazyboot to make them work on gdemu.

That's it? Damn. I've converted this to CDI around 5 or 6 times with various methods: old Echelon method, 45000 LBA method and even Self-BooTDATA Pack by Familyguy and none worked out. Something in your process must be fixing what these other methods don't. xD
Thanks for the info!

Hmmm... This game must have some kind of protection.
Even using GDIBuilder, if you select to trim the image, it will not work.
Most probably the game checks its location on an LBA level and doesn't run if it does not match, even if the Dreamcast boots it...
