A number of series and documentaries can be streamed for free from HBO starting today. You don't need to have an active subscription for it, although a VPN may be required outside of the USA.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to mention that Babylon 5 has been 1080p remastered (4:3 AR) and is on HBO Max. I think it's also on Amazon Prime.

Besides the pilot being upscaled (noticeably so, but this is due to original source being damaged/lost) the episodes look pretty good. The CGI is uncropped and can be seen in it's full glory (hehe), although sometimes you may see some stuttering (this is due to CGI source being different framerate to film source).

Better than DVD 🙂

Well, except for the pilot anyway.
