  2. I am posting this since @ElTacoDestroyer was inquring about an image viewer with a slideshow option, well here is the one I decided was really nice for more features and options. It's free too. It reminds me of the older Windows Photo Viewer but with some extra conveniences that other viewers (like Nexus) lack. [DOWNLOAD] Preview
  3. Microsoft’s Windows 10 May 2019 Update puts you back in control of updates and Separates Cortana from Windows Search! Microsoft is planning to start rolling out its Windows 10 May 2019 Update next week to testers before it’s more broadly available in late May. The new update is the next major version of Windows 10, codenamed “19H1,” and it’s a relatively light update in terms of features. Microsoft’s big visual change is a new light theme for Windows 10, alongside Kaomoji support, a Windows sandbox feature, and the separation of Cortana and Windows search. The May 2019 Update will also allow Windows 10 users to take control of how they get feature updates. Microsoft has been aggressively pushing these updates to machines once they’re ready, ensuring that consumers are on the very latest version of the operating system. That’s about to change: the May 2019 Update will now let you choose when to install the latest major version. Windows 10 users will be able to simply stay on an existing version and continue to receive monthly security updates, avoiding the latest feature update. Microsoft is letting Windows 10 users avoid feature updates and delay patches Microsoft is also allowing Windows 10 Home and Pro users to pause feature and monthly updates for up to 35 days, and it’s introducing intelligent active hours so the OS can detect when you’re still using your PC so updates don’t get installed and annoy you. Windows updates have been a particular pain point for Windows 10 users, and Microsoft is clearly listening and providing far more choice now. There will still be prompts to push people to get the latest feature update, but it won’t be forced immediately anymore. Microsoft is also addressing some of the quality issues of Windows 10 updates that we saw throughout 2018. The software maker was forced to delay its April 2018 Update due to Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issues, and then it pulled its October 2018 Update after a few days of some users complaining that files were being deleted. Microsoft is taking a far more careful approach with the May 2019 Update this time around. The update will arrive to Release Preview testers next week, and there’s now a far larger gap between that final test phase before it rolls out more broadly later next month. That’s weeks of additional testing and checks, instead of the days we saw with the last release. Microsoft is also tweaking the way it sorts through the thousands of pieces of feedback it receives each day about Windows updates to spot issues like the data loss problems from the October 2018 Update. On top of all of this, Microsoft is even launching a new dashboard later this month to track the health of Windows releases, so if you experience any issues, you’ll be able to check to see these against real-time known problems. It’s encouraging to see Microsoft making these changes and the increased transparency around the status of Windows updates, in general. While the issues we saw in 2018 weren’t widespread, Microsoft is carefully working to avoid that from happening again. 4. Idk about everyone else, but I can't stand having a million bars and menus all over my image views. Thanks to Nexus Image Viewer, I can view the image only, all by itself! It's now my default image viewer. I Love how I can just click the image to move it around too, not having to worry about grabbing the title bar. Best of all, it's FREE! [Download] [Source] There is a few extra useful functions like deleting on the fly or having a sidebar to see other images in the folder as well.

  10. So Sega announced they will bringing a bunch of games to the PC. Starting with Yakuza 0, followed by Kiwami and Valkyria Chronicles 4. Yakuza 0 will be hitting Steam This first of August, with 4K resolution (which I don't care about). With a price tag of $20, hopefully this move will help them succeed in exposing the series to a wider player-base.
  11. So today I finally decide to learn how to clean up those annoying right click context menus on files in Windows 7. I discovered these very handy little apps while doing so! ☆_☆ http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html - Shell Ex View http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shell_menu_view.html - Shell Menu View Now I no longer have annoying useless words all over when I right click stuff, yay~ ------- I also, for some reason, dealt with annoying Winrar cluttered context menu options for as long as I can remember. I can't believe how easy it was to fix..maybe I'm not the only one who overlooked this for so long? http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-remove-unnecessary-winrar-items-from-context-menu/ Why would I want to COMPRESS+EMAIL by default! Begone useless options! Yay~

  14. What does everyone use to protect their computer? Currently I'm using Avast Free and Malware Bytes Free. https://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ My favorite computer security news site has been https://krebsonsecurity.com/ for a while. I used to read https://slashdot.org/ a lot, but eventually it got too convoluted for me. I can't live without NoScript, UBlockOrigin and Adblockplus anymore either. They make web browsing a lot more comfortable for me. https://noscript.net/ https://www.ublock.org/ https://adblockplus.org/ On unsecured devices I forgot how nasty and annoying the net can be. >.< My PS Vita can barely surf the web anymore because of all the stupid ads. I notice a lot of sites are taking up arms to block these programs lately. Hopefully they can be countered, eventually! I always hated ads because they are almost always misleading and many times dangerous to my computer's health. It's not that I don't wanna support the owners (I disable them on sites I like/trust), but so many of them are shady!
  15. Okay no topics exist so I try one. Talk about a program or feature you added to your computer to make it even better for you, personally, to enjoy. Most recently I installed Aquasnap, it's very useful for organizing my windows and keeping them tightly docked. Idk about everyone else, but I hate when my windows aren't perfectly lined up or go off screen, so this app was a godsend for me! The Program: https://www.nurgo-software.com/products/aquasnap
  16. Ever imagine what it's like to be forcibly inflicted with amnesia and grouped with a bunch of highly elite and eccentric students (example: a tennis player offing an entire Mafia group with steel balls), and then being constantly coerced into killing them to save your own ass? Or maybe you just want to be the nice person and try to find a way out of the mess. Either way, this game will play on your nerves, conscious, and make you suspect literally everyone. The gameplay is mainly walking around and finding areas of interest/clues, playing minigames (driving on a psychic highway, solving block puzzles, etc.) and going through "debates" where you must quickly assess people's statements and find flaws, or, this time around, even lie to get the real truth. I'm not a huge fan of the gameplay, but there is an Easy Mode to quickly get through them if you just wanna enjoy the story. I've personally played the first 2 games and thoroughly enjoyed the characters and plot. It took me a while to adapt to the Hope / Despair (mostly despair) combo, but once I got past the initial shock value, I was hungry for more crazy humor and dark drama. Interestingly, this game seems to combine characters from the first two games, at least from what the demo showed, anyway (who knows, it could be a trick, Spike Chunsoft is very tricksy!). Oh, and do yourself a favor (or don't), don't mistake this for a waifu/husbando sim, because NO ONE IS TRULY SAFE when it comes to death and despair in this series! >:) The demo for the new Danganronpa 3 game is out. The official full English releases will be on: NA: September 26, 2017 EU: September 29, 2017 AU: October 6, 2017 If you complete the demo, you will get a "secret reward" upon buying the full game. 17. This game is looking really promising. If you were a fan of Rune Factory, monster catching games like Digimon, Harvest Moon, Monster Rancher, etc. this game may be a dream come true for you. It's going to have many many many features, including farming, monster catching, romance, online cooperative multiplayer, fishing, adventuring with real time combat, and more! I'm personally very excited for this game!! Currently, it's running a crowdfunding campaign on Square Enix Collective (Crowdfunding) and is doing pretty well. https://collective.square-enix.com/projects/346/relegend/ Homepage: http://www.play-relegend.com/
  18. My dream came true, and Blizzard unveiled their event and made a co-op campaign that further delves into Overwatch's rich backstory. People laughed when I said Blizzard would do something like this, since it was "too much work" and "impossible to hope for". I can't wait to get back to them and get the "last laugh". Hehehe... I temporarily stopped playing Overwatch, hoping for some fresh new content to try, and it's here! My only worry is that it's "limited", but I'm guessing Blizzard is testing our it's popularity first. I sure hope to see more of this kind of thing in the future though! They are releasing some new skins, highlight intros, and emotes as well! I'm already swooning over that new beautiful Mercy skin! it's neat to see what the Overwatch Agents were supposed to look like in the past. What do you guys think, does it get you pumped to play a different mode and have the opportunity finally explore some of the lore of Overwatch? 19. Those (like myself) who never had a chance to play the third-person action game Bayonetta, can now pick it up Steam for a mere price of $20. So far, it looks like the game is getting "Very Good" reception on Steam for being a quality port. The premise of the game seems to be "sexy female combat", and a lot of Bayonetta's moves show her skin while she is kicking "angel" ass. It's the same creator who made Devil May Cry, so I can see where the gameplay would be going, too. Game Intro Trailer: Here's what the game play looks like on max settings: That's some flashy combat! As expected of the genius behind Devil May Cry. I'll probably pick this one up, eventually, it certainly looks like a wondrous feast of visuals and action. And here I almost got the WII U version! I always prefer playing these kind of games with a mouse+keyboard combo myself. Hopefully Bayonetta 2 is ported next!
