  2. Tested in DEmul PVR Included English Patched This is an unlicensed RPG from Taiwan whose English patch was created ages ago. A few years back Piko Interactive picked it up and released it on Steam. It's pretty good, drags a bit and it's a bit grindy but not a bad game and for an unlicensed it's one of the best. Genesis didn't have many menu based RPGs so it's one of the best there too. Not Phantasy Star quality, but a fine game. I know a lot of people love Pier Solar, to be honest I felt about them same for this one. If you really liked Pier then you'd probably disagree, but if you felt Pier dragged a bit then Brave is about equal. Genesis to Genesis of course, this lacks the audio and FMVs of the PS DC release. 3 out of 5 Gator Chomps Dreamcast: [hide][Hidden Content]] Genesis: [hide][Hidden Content]] Cannon works and I may upload it soon Beggar Prince, Star Odyssey, Legend of Wukong, and Vixen can not be ported to Dreamcast otherwise my next Smash Pack would have unofficial RPGs.
  3. Full Autoboot PVR Included MR Tagged Rom Hack I mucked up the titled IP but most of y'all won't even notice that. You need to either hack the cdi or look at it in redream, which can't play the game anyway, and you'll see it is titled but appears blank in redream. Dunno why. Replaced all characters, all enemies and all bosses. Added shadow for all characters, all enemies and all bosses. Some enemies have new attacks, that will surprise experienced players. Characters replaced by Raph, Leo, Donnie, Mikey, April O’Neil, Splinter and Casey Jones. All seven playable characters can jump further while running All of the characters attacks are similar to those from TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. The game has juggling for both players and enemies. Players can recover from a hit by pressing the jump button upon landing (as in SOR4) The command to run (f, f) becomes more sensitive. All playable characters can jump further while running. You can use the Offensive Special while running Added 6-Button gamepad Support. Uppercut now is Y-button. Friendly fire is disabled. Added new sounds for players and enemies. A new plot has been written for the game. Changed the title screen Changed all Story Screen in the game For the first time in sor2 hacking, switching between normal and turbo mode has been added to the option Added turbo mode Dreamcast: [Hidden Content] Genesis: [hide][Hidden Content]]
  4. Hey there! Does anyone have a ZX Spectrum or/and MSX version(s) of this game?
  5. Created by ShindouGO Nice menu system Background music Tested Loads of features Great work by Shin. Be warned, not everything is going to work in an emu. The cdi will play everything on a real Dreamcast and I didn't notice anything glitch-wise that would be Shin's fault so much as a sort coming of the packed in programs. For example, say you load the PS1 game, not really Shin's fault bleem is a bit spotty. The menu system looks, sounds, and functions really well. [Hidden Content]

  7. I figured it was time to make this post in case someone hasn't done so already. Does anyone know if all the exclusive roms have been dumped from both the US and Japan versions of these Mini Consoles? I do legit have the US version personally, but am no hacker myself. I understand if say the Space Harrier games won't work on emulators currently, but that doesn't matter to me. I just like to keep the roms for archive purposes due to my passion for retro games. In any case, if anyone has info on if this has been done or will be done in the near future, just let us all know here. Thank you. :)

  14. *** Uwol: Quest for Money is a 2D fixed-screen platform game about the character Uwol. It is set in the manor Storm Palace owned by an eccentric millionaire where the rooms are arranged like a pyramid. Each room represents a single-screen platform level with coins and enemies. By moving through any of the four sides of the screen the character appears on the other side. When all coins are collected two exits appears and Uwol can choose a new level in the pyramid with some freedom for the path to follow based on the chosen exit. To win the game a total of 255 coins has to be collected. If the bottom of the pyramid is reached without the required amount the game restarts and a different path can be chosen, avoiding the empty rooms, to collect additional coins. Levels have three types of enemies: Franky, Vampy and Wolfy. Enemies cannot be attacked, they can only be avoided. There is only a small amount of time to clear a room. When time runs out Fanty is summoned who can freely move around the screen and chases Uwol until the character is dead or all coins are collected and the exit is reached after all. Uwol starts with three lives but a single hit is not deadly right away. When hit once, Uwol loses his clothes and a second hit will kill them. By picking up a T-shirt the protection is regained. Story Uwol, not content with reaping 90% of all revenue from retro video games in Spain and getting rich, wants to relive the adventures of his former idols while continuing to swell his coffers, since that is the first reason for his existence. After hoarding precious trophies following in the footsteps of his favorite classic video game heroes (The Fire That Doesn’t Burn (which comes in handy for the hall), a proton pistol with its ion charger, three Gremla panties, Willy’s checkbook, Wally’s pajamas, the Sword of Power (the fake one, the real one is in use), a lot of Saimaza coffee…), he finds out that a mysterious and eccentric millionaire, once a thief, hides in an old mansion nearby to the Canutos Forest (the one known as Storm Palace) a jug of gold coins, and decides to emulate his great idol Goody and steal them… The thing is, it’s not going to be too easy… The basements of the Storm Palace are deep and full of nooks and crannies. As if this were not enough, the intricate layout of the ancient cameras makes it easy to get lost, miss the path and find yourself back at the starting point. That’s what happened to Uwol: being the most ambitious guy in the universe played a trick on him and because he wanted to go deeper and deeper into the palace to find more and more coins, he ended up at the bottom of the maze… A maze in the inhabited by Vampy, Franky, Fanty and Wolfy, who will try by all means that Uwol does not take a penny. GLUF Meet our friend GLUF. If you think he is an ordinary frog then you would be mistaken as GLUF is a Tesla frog that can accumulate power from generators. Which comes in handy to power up platforms because…well why not? GLUF is an arcade puzzle game that sees you guide your frog across all of the platform sections on each level in order to power them up before moving on to the next level. But in order to light up the platform sections, GLUF himself must be charged up and he does this by hopping across to the numerous battery tiles located on each level. Once powered up, moving across onto a platform section will result in it changing to a colour, denoting that it has been charged up. Each time you light up a panel, GLUF’s power cell reduces by one unit, which means that he will periodically have to recharge in order to complete a level. To make your way around all tiles, you will find yourself taking elevators up and down or standing on disintegrating platforms to give you a way through to what initially looks like inaccessible areas. When you hop across all tiles an exit door appears and you need to make your way to it in order to proceed to the next level. Features: Single player puzzling amphibious arcade gameplay. 30+ levels to keep your webbed-finger tips firing on all cylinders. Hoppable game sessions for all ages. Classic arcade action & chiptune music. Trailer: Note! This game is already on the forum. I added it to make the collection complete. If you only want to download the GLUF, use the search. *** IV. It's programmed in pure 68000 assembly language, using original SEGA development tools and processes from the 1990s. 25. Tested PVR MR GLC RH HB BL Special thanks to @obthree for showing me BMB's work and @Gamerone for showing me who BMB is BMB is a Russian developer known for some interesting hacks, homebrews, and bootlegs. Quality ranges but the obscurity and novelty of the work makes it all interesting enough to qualify for a smash, in my opinion. The place I downloaded these from did a lot of guessing and was mostly wrong. Darkwing, for example, is not a port of the NES game. It is a recreation running on BMB's platforming engine. Its physics, AI, stages, enemies is all a little different and more akin to early 8-bit computer platforming games than NES era and/or beyond. So, if you're here for the Genesis roms rather than the Dreamcast cdi don't put stock into the naming. None of these are legit games simply translated by BMB. Some are romhacks but the vast majority are original games infringing on popular intellectual properties. Lastly, I do not mean this as any form of political commentary on the war. This is a work showcase and nothing else.
